The Nokia 6500 classic is a beautifully crafted phone. Due to the unique way the anodised aluminium finish is polished, no two handsets are exactly alike.

At only 9.5mm, the 6500 classic is extremely thin, yet Nokia have managed to pack in a 2MP camera with dual LED flash and video recording capabilities, a music player and a comparatively large 1GB of memory into this quad-band, 3G handset.

With such a large amount of memory there’s plenty of room for photos, videos and music. And thanks to the unified micro USB port which handles data and charging (allowing it to be charged from a laptop computer), the 6500 also makes a suitable alternative to carrying around separate flash memory sticks.

Nokia fans will feel at home with the 6500 classic’s easy-to-use, Series 40 interface that allows intuitive access to the range of features such as the calendar, calculator, built-in handsfree and voice memo. And to finish off the feature list, the 6500 classic also includes a web browser, email client and supports Bluetooth 2.0.

The 6500 classic is another fine handset from Nokia. Good looking, practical, a solid feature list, and superb value.
